Today I am doing the If I had £50 Beauty Tag for Teens! This is specifically meant for teens as all items will be under £10 (as it is more affordable). Bearing in mind most of these will have been first try time products (never used them before) so I am not recommending, just talking about affordable products!

Which Foundation?: Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation RRP: £8.99

Which Concealer?: Collection 2000 Lasting Perfection Concealer RRP: £4.19

Which Blusher?: Collection 2000 Shimmer Shades Blushalicious Blusher RRP: £4.19
What I think 'I have this blusher and it is super pigmented! The 4 shades are stunning and natural. Very buildable. Definitely recommend this product especially for the price!'

Which Bronzer?: NYC Sun 2 Sun Bronzing Powder RRP: £2.49

Which Eyeshadow?: MUA Professional Eye Palette Dusk Til Dawn RRP: £4

Which Mascara?: Maybelline Collosal Mascara Black RRP: £7.19

Which Eyeliner?: Maybelline Eye Studio Master Kohl Liner Ultra Black RRP: £4.49

Which Lip Liner?: Rimmel 1000 Kisses Lip Liner in Indian Pink or Red Dynamite RRP: £2.99

Which Lip Balm?: Maybelline Baby Lips in Peach Kiss RRP: £2.99
What I think 'I have this lip balm and it is very moisturising, smells nice (like fake peaches but it is very subtle). I put this on before my lipstick and gloss, so it has chance to moisturise my lips and makes my lip products last longer on my lips! I love this!'

Which Lip Colour?: Rimmel Apocalips Lip Lacquer in Celestial RRP: £6.49

Ta Da! That all equals up to £48.01 for a full makeup look!

Well, I hope this helped those of you wanting to start makeup and I hope you enjoyed!

Review: Maybelline 24 hour Colour Tattoos

As you all know, I recently purchased the Maybelline 24 Hour Colour Tattoo, which was raved about so much, that I had to try it!

I purchased two shades - 35 On and On Bronze and 65 Pink Gold.

My Personal Favourite out of the two is On and On Bronze as it is such a stunning bronze colour and looks amazing as a neutral, paired with my Supercat Soap & Glory Eyeliner. What I also love about this colour is that it can be dressed up and goes great with a smokey eye.

I do not know what to think of Pink Gold as I find you need to pair it with a another colour (a pressed powder though) and I find if you apply too much of it, the colour can look too pale against my skin tone.
I have yet to find a way to make this colour look amazing on my lids, so if you have another way of using the eyeshadow please let me know in the comments below! I do think the colour is stunning and I do like it, I just have to find a complimentary colour.

The Colour Tattoos are a definite eye shadow must have in my opinion and I always edge towards them when doing my makeup. The colours are super pigmented and quite a creamy consistency. I think these are a steal for £4.99 each as I will always use them.

Another colour I wish to pick up is Metallic Pomegranate which is one of the 9 shades (available in Boots), but I do know that on the website there is 12 shades available. Do you have the shade I am eyeing up? Please tell me what its like below?!

How I clean my makeup brushes;

Cleaning makeup brushes is a very important part to beauty. The amount of bacteria and germs your brush hold and, you put on your face is disgusting. Product gets clogged up in the hairs of your brush, causing germs to multiply and spread.

Sounds gross, right? Well, with a good cleaner and running water, you will be fine and your brushes 'deep cleaned'.

I deep clean my brushes once a week (sounds a lot, but if you are using your brushes nearly every day then you should) and I also spot clean (rinse lightly and dry) when I feel my brushes need it or when I have used a very bright/prominent colour.

I know there are plenty of expensive brush cleaners claiming to do the job better than anything else; but they cannot beat Johnsons Baby Shampoo. It is a lot softer for the brushes than normal shampoo (NEVER use anything like your daily shampoo, as your brush hair is very delicate.)

Let's get started!

Select a big brush (I am using a face brush) and rinse under warm water. Once wet, swirl your brush in the cleanser/baby shampoo to create a lather. Once you think the brush is lathered enough, soak your brush under the water and squeeze the brush hairs, making sure that all shampoo has been rinsed out.

With your smaller brushes (eyeshadow brushes, lip brushes etc.) swirl three at the same time. Here I am using; Eyeshadow Brush, Eyebrow Angled Brush and Eyeliner Brush.

You repeat the steps above but clean them at the same time! It's quicker and easier to do it that way but everything is still cleaned!

So I hope this helped you all with cleaning your makeup brushes, as it is very important that you do this!!
